I have been pondering a question floating in the ether of social media: If I could speak three words to my 18-year-old self, what would they be?
I started with contemplating my most embarrassing moments and sought to prevent them. Make the call. Dress for success. Be not afraid.
I then thought about the baggage I carried. Forgive them first. You have value. It doesn't matter.
Finally, I realized the best answer wasn't about preventing hurt or humiliation. It was about perseverance. Jesus loves you. I love you. It's all right. You made it.
Let brotherly love continue. Do not neglect hospitality, for through it some have unknowingly entertained angels. Hebrews 13: 1-2
