Proceed With Caution

My family has been hit with all kinds of illnesses this cold and flu season. Each time we recover, we feel invincible. We move too quickly, heading into our normal routine at top speed. We throw caution to the wind and take on any and every task that has been put on hold. Then we start to feel run down, but we can't give up now. Just a little further. We can do it. We can make it. We... are sick all over again.

Maybe we should try easing back into things a bit. I'm not saying we should camp out in the living room and binge the latest season of whatever on our streaming platform of choice, but perhaps we could take things one project at a time. One project, do it carefully and do it well. Each project has a deadline. They can be prioritized. Nothing is urgent or pressing. Just breathe.

So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will take care of itself. Each day has enough troubles of its own. Matt 6: 34
