Bureaucracy has become a fixture in today's society. I receive paperwork. I fill out and submit paperwork. The paperwork is approved. Time passes. The paperwork is no longer approved. The paperwork is found to be insufficient. I must submit new paperwork. If the new paperwork is not submitted in a timely manner, the consequences will be dire. They are sorry to inform me that the deadline has passed. I should have submitted the paperwork sooner. Have a nice day.
It makes me want to cry.
Sometimes it feels as if needing assistance puts me under a microscope. Others are invited into my life to judge my decisions. Well, if I didn't want others in my business, I should not have gone to them for help. They would love to help me under certain conditions. Oh, am I going to use my resources to make that choice? They are very sorry that they can't help me. Have a nice day.
Jesus warned us about this. The world is not fair. It will never be fair this side of heaven.
"If the world hates you, be aware that it hated Me before it hated you. If you belonged to the world, the world would love you as its own. But you do not belong to the world because I have chosen you out of the world, and therefore the world hates you." John 15: 18-19
